This new standing desk features two-tone, brushed aluminum fame and legs for style and added strength. Even more, the Vortex Series packs a new security feature - the frame is equipped with obstruction sensors and automatically stops at sight of obstruction from above or below. Frequent users? We've got just the thing. The Vortex Series offers two types of controller option: Option 1 is a newly improved Standard Up/Down Controller that can lift or lower desk with a simple push of a button. Just press button and let it go. Press again to stop at desired height. Option 2 is a Four-Preset Memory Controller where you press and hold button to record your desired positions. Concerned with energy consumption? Single motor requires less energy even when plugged into a power source continuously. In addition, the LED light from the Controller automatically dims within 10 seconds of inactivity to save energy and well, we just don't need it lit all night long. The durable, beautifully crafted 60" x 30" laminate tops have been designed for both form and function.
