Straight from the toy making capital of the world, a Christkindlmarket favorite, “Lebkuchen Rounds.” These large gingerbread cookies come in three tasty varieties: glazed, dark chocolate covered, or an assorted pack, which includes just a plain gingerbread cookie. The Häscha brand has an abundance of hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds and cashew kernels, yet they are soft to the bite. The bottom of each cookie has a “Oblate” which is a very thin layer of “edible paper” made of egg and powder sugar which gives the cookie just a subtle crunch. The Häscha Lebkuchen Rounds are truly a unique holiday treat.
