Featherline chalk and wax brushes were born out of the desire to achieve a new level of professional grade results while also realizing value, resiliency, and longevity. We could not find a product with that unique combination of characteristics in the market, so we set out to create it. We exclusively use the top producers of fine boar bristle, utilizing twice-boiled bristles allowing artisans all over the world to produce an amazing, textured and vintage look, bursting with character. Our bristles are flexible and strong, yet pliable - and utilize organic split fibers which facilitate greater artist expression across a variety of project types. Because of their increased surface area, they allow the brushes to hold more material which translates to higher application of material per stroke. In addition, our brushes are completely unique in the engineering used to achieve a one-of-a-kind fit and finish, specifically dealing with manual ergonomics and ongoing usability.
