Our cafe door hinges in a beautiful BLACK finish are made exclusively for DDC Industry and carry a lifetime warranty. Dual action hinges are unique in their simplicity. A specially designed nylon bearing is built into the double acting hinge producing the bi-directional swing allowing the saloon doors to swing freely in both directions then automatically close. If needed there is a design feature to the gravity pivot hinge that is engaged once the cafe door is pushed past 125 degrees that allows you to conveniently hold open one or both cafe door panels. DDC Industry's dual action hinges do not have plastic mounting brackets. The gravity pivot hinges come with standard installation instructions - only basic tools and skills needed. One double acting hinge set installs one cafe door set consisting of a pair of café door panels. Hinge Specifications - Our double acting cafe door hinge set is manufactured from heavy duty steel rated to hold a door set weighing up to 60 pounds and 3/8" to 1-3/8" in thickness. A 1" gap is requred between the finished door opening and width of the door set.
Hinge Features - dual swing so both cafe door panels swing in and out, auto-close so both cafe door panels return to their closed position, adjusting feature that allows precise centering of cafe doors during installation or over time with use, and a hold-open feature where one or both doors will stay open when desired.
Installation instructions are included with 4 easy-to-follow diagramed steps. Only basic tools and a little know-how are needed to install a cafe door. All Cafe Door Emporium's cafe door sets are pre-made to fit our hinges.
