Nurture Soap is the largest supplier of mica colorants for soap making in the United States. Even though we specialize in soaps, our micas are cosmetic grade and can be used for eye shadows, lipstick, nail polish, stamping, resin casting, scrapbooking, paints, and more!

Please read the product description to see if the mica is permitted for lip or eye area use. All mica powders have been tested in cold process soaps and melt and pour. They work great in hot process soap making, too! They will not morph and fade like micas that haven't been tested in soap can often do. Avoid surprises in soaps with our micas!

We offer our colors in bags and jars. Our jars are big so the mica isn't messy to use. When you're done with the jar, buy the micas in bags at a lower price and refill the jar!

Orange Vibrance mica is one of our most tried and true colors. It is the most dependable orange mica for soap we have found. It is an orange that is yellow in tone and produces a true orange color in cold and hot process and melt and pour soaps.

Working with any orange can be tricky with soaps. For best result with this and any orange mica, soap cool and don't let your soaps get too hot. Heat seems to have a negative effect on orange making fade or peach in color. Orange micas also need a slightly higher usage rate than other colors. For best results use 2 tablespoons per pound of oils, or even more to achieve the depth of color you like.
