They are very well-machined hardwood, lightweight and won't crack up like the rubber stoppers and they just work better! These wooden wedges are also multi-purpose and can be used for other functions such as a stopper for reclining chairs to stop it from rocking, to offset or level uneven ground surface, and other uses. Does the job well and will last longer than other door stoppers sold on the market.
