This shirt is Made in Union, South Carolina. A small town with a history of surviving tough times. Settled in 1749, Union is steeped in our nation's textile history. The 1st cotton mill was built in 1894. Many came from the mountains to work in Union. By 1970 the county's economy was 94 percent textile-related. By the 90's, the last textile mill closed. But this is a story of success. Vapor Apparel founded its Union Plant in 2014. Now 110 people strong and making shirts for the world. We are dedicated to a quality product. From the shadows of the old mill, our 50,000 sq. ft. facility is making one of Amazon's top rated UPF tops. We are doing it right. Our employees are American citizens and e-verified to work in the US. Our people earn an honest wage for work done well. Named one of SC's fastest growing companies in 2016 (#20), we work with local suppliers to deliver a shirt that is 100% made in a 200 ml. region of the Carolinas. We also cut and sew shirts in Union with imported fabrics. Our shirts are worn by Boy Scouts throughout the country and are in many National Park stores. It feels good to buy Made in the USA.
