This large meteorite is from Campo Del Cielo, Argentina. It weighs approx. 35-60 grams and measures approx. 1.5" X .75" (sizes and weights will vary). An acrylic display case (2.25" X 1.5" X 1.5"), black velvet pouch (2" X 3"), Authenticity certificate, and Educational Card are also included and beautifully packaged inside a handcrafted wooden pirate treasure chest (2.5" X 3" X 2.25, designs vary, see photos)." These meteorites fell over 4000 years ago! They were found in Campo del Cielo, Argentina. It is estimated that the original meteorite weighed over 50 tons before it hit the earth (there are 2,200 lbs in one ton!). The meteorites are composed mostly of iron with some nickel.
