Novella (60k words) Psychological horror / suspense / ghost story--Cleo Blair has it all. She's young and talented. She has a great job as a writer for Discover New England Magazine and she's in love with a handsome, sexy photographer with whom she has co-authored a best-selling book. While she is following a lead for a new story she encounters a man who tells her about the ghosts said to haunt a beach-side amusement town called Halcyon Beach. Out of curiosity she checks into the Snuggle Inn there and soon meets the Geezers who regale her with stories of haunted shipwrecks and an old man who lives on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Then strange things begin to happen. Cleo's room is ransacked, her car is vandalized, and she has a feeling someone is following her. As in the first two Halcyon Beach Chronicles, the town is as bleak, strange, and haunting as ever.
