The Thylacine, Tazmanian Tiger, or Marsupial Wolf was the largest marsupial carnivore in modern times. Identification as both Tiger and Wolf may be due to the animal's mix of canine and feline skeletal features. The complete skull and most of the skeleton is canine, but the forelegs are more feline. The forelegs could grasp prey leading to an arguably "feline hunting style," Not to mention the stripes. Lacking concrete evidence of its survival, the thylacine is widely believed to be extinct.
