Marabou has been the preferred chocolate brand in Sweden since it was launched in 1916. One of Kraft Food's largest regional chocolate brands, Marabou was named for the Marabou Stork, which was the trademark for its sister company Freia, in Norway. Creamy, smooth Marabou chocolate comes in many varieties, including the popular milk chocolate tablet, fruit and almond, and Daim pieces. Daim was launched in Sweden in 1953 and since then it has travelled around the world.
