As the lamp is made of salt, it absorbs water that is in the air. As a result, the salt will melt after being heated. This melted salt may then form small crystals on the lamp. To avoid this from happening, it is suggested to keep the salt crystals separately in a dry area if the lamp is not planned to be used for a long period of time.
