The fixture's light-weight design allows it to be wired simply without the hassle of having a heavy, over-sized fixture hanging overhead. Using aluminum (ADC12), we gave the fixture better heat dissipation using less weight. Our lights are all made in 2017, and (this is important) we note actual lumens emitted. Some companies note their chip lumens instead of the actual lumens emitted, but the lumens lost due to the light's cover are unaccounted for with that method.
