When Clarke Gannon brings a distraught woman to her friend Penny Caspian for help, it’s because Clarke’s too busy to assist, not because she thinks the woman’s nuts.

But when the lady tells them she needs someone to hunt down Santa Claus, who’s missing, it seems obvious the poor lady has lost it.

Enter Clarke’s nemesis, Ronan Cunningham, who insists that not only is Santa Claus real, but that old St. Nick’s got one of the magical objects that Cunningham wants. Cunningham uses those objects to compel Clarke and Penny to help find Santa.
