NOTE: Canes shown in pictures are not included in sale !! Solid Brass Washer is specially made to be used by Cane Makers who want to accentuate the Joint between the Wooden Cane Handle and the Wooden Shaft. This Washer is 1" in diameter (made for 1" cane shafts) 3/16" thick and has a 3/8" hole in the center so your connecting 3/8" threaded rod ( or wood dowel) will pass through the washer. I use these in all of the Canes I make as a "Grain Break" ....to separate the horizontal grain of the Wooden Cane Handle with the vertical grain of the Wooden Shaft. It also makes for a great "Look" and gives the Cane some Class !! See pictures for some samples of canes I have made using the Solid Brass Washer.
