The KV-2 was a Soviet heavy assault tank based on the KV-1 model. It differed from the first KV in that it had a much larger (and much heavier) turret with a 152mm caliber cannon. However, because of its weight, it was much slower. Only a few were produced due to their combat ineffectiveness.
