In some makes of vehicle, the cigarette lighter may not operate when the ignition is turned off. In such cases, you can connect directly onto the battery using the alligator battery clamps and cable provided. Please note that the black lead indicates negative (-) and the red lead indicates positive (+).

Q:Can I use my power sport vehicle while the panel is attached?
A: No. For safety reasons, the use of this panel is NOT recommended while vehicle is in use. While the vehicle is in use, it is recommended to store the solar panel in the glove compartment or under the seat to prevent the panel from obstructing proper and safe use of the vehicle.
