It’s not easy being a self-taught wizard. With the Book of Sins in his possession, Daniel has a couple of spells that allow him to do the impossible, sparking fire from thin air, and desire from a hushed whisper.

He isn’t content to go back to his normal life, not when the supernatural world is encroaching on the town of Icarus Point. After his friend PJ’s mom goes missing under strange circumstances, it’s up to him to track her down by any means necessary.

And it would be simple enough, too, if not for the fact that he is still pursued by a mysterious and vaguely sexy Dreamwalker, one of the religious authorities of the magical world. On top of that, Kami, his magical illusionist familiar, has to take on a disguise to stay nearby that leaves the people closest to Daniel confused and a little suspicious at the intense nature of their relationship.
