Keep your home and loved ones safe and secure by adding a siren to your Insteon system. The Insteon siren generates a loud alert sound when Insteon wireless sensors are triggered or when activated by Insteon controllers, deterring burglars and notifying you and your family of trouble. The Insteon siren also features a secondary, more pleasant chime tone for alerting you to less-critical happenings in and around your home. Alerts can be armed and disarmed either through the Insteon app (Insteon hub #2245-222 required) or from an Insteon keypad, mini remote or other controller – allowing alerts to sound only when you want them. Installation is easy and completely wireless so no need to run wires or drill mounting holes in the wall. Setup and configuration is quick and easy when using the Insteon hub app and allows you to use your smartphone to arm/disarm as well as configure alerts to go directly to your phone for notifications while away from home. The Insteon siren can also be used without a hub by manually pairing to Insteon sensors (for triggers) and controllers (for arm/disarm). the Insteon siren can be linked to up to 24 devices (trigger and arming devices)
