A caudex-forming aroid from Kenya has 3 inches, shiny-green leaves arranged along bottle-shaped stems, giving a cycad-like appearance. Easy to grow, good as a houseplant, bonsai, for shaded landscapes or terrariums.

Leaves can grow from 40-60cm long and looks smooth and shiny. Long live plant and very resistant to plant disease and insects. Like Snake Plant, ZZ Plant is also known for its air purifying capabilities.
- GROWING ZZ PLANT –Easy growing plant. Perfect in bright to moderate indirect light but will be extremely good in low levels of light. Curling and yellowish leaves of the ZZ Plant indicates that your plant is receiving too much sunlight. In this case, you can move your ZZ plant to a shadier place.
- TAKING CARE A ZZ PLANT – ZZ plant doesn’t requires much care and attention unlike some other indoor plants. Actually, you can just leave them alone and let them grow by their own. Water the plant when you noticed that the soil is already dry. Too much watering of the plant can cause its death, although ZZ Plant can survive months without water it still needs to be watered regularly or as if needed to encourage fast growth.
- PRUNING – you can maintain the healthy leaves of your ZZ Plant by simply removing yellowish leaves, Nip back the plant’s stems if you assume that they are too long by using sharp shears. But, keep in mind that you should be careful while doing this process as it may affect the roots and may cause your ZZ Plant die. Lastly, you can just remove out those dead and dying stems after all this process your ZZ Plant is good to be displayed again.
