A natural and unaltered true fine green powder. Only slightly processed from ground organically-grown stevia leaves, it retains the nutrients as well as the emerald color, taste, and aroma of the plant.

Made from the plant species Stevia Rebaudiana grown on self-sustaining stevia farms, picked by hand, and sun-dried. Our certified organic, kosher stevia is left uniquely natural by not over-processing, keeping the naturally-beneficial phytochemicals of the stevia plant intact. We dry-steam sterilize, a low-heat process that eliminates pathogen risk while retaining the color, aroma, and taste. Unfortunately, the market is rife with stevia powders that have been either sun-dried without any sterilization, irradiated, or moist-heat sterilized, a process that damages the powder.

Though many green stevia powders are made by grinding the entire plant, we use only the best leaves. Whole-plant powders are sifted, and can contain stems and other larger pieces. Omica's stevia leaves are milled into a fine, consistent powder.

Since Green stevia powder generally isn't as sweet or as water-soluble as a white stevia powder due to the retention of chlorophyll and fiber, it's not recommended as a sugar substitute in beverages or for sprinkling on food.
