There's almost no installation needed! The mount is designed to slip into your CD slot and upon flipping the lever, hold tightly in place. Your phone then just sits on the base as the magnets pull the phone to hold it in place. The ball-joints allow you to set the phone at the angle you desire for driving, without the mount or phone shifting positions or flipping.
