They even fit great to reseal open jars and cans to keep contents fresh.

EASY TO USE - Just push the unused half of the leftover veggie or fruit down into the food hugger. The Food Saver disk will stretch a little to fit the food, so select the snuggest sized hugger that the food will push into. When the food is pushed into the food snuggler, it firmly (hugs) around the food and creates a seal to hold in the natural juices and prevent exposure to air, which can cause food to spoil or dry out. Save the food in the fridge until you need it again.
