Mega Zorbe Hydrophobic Melamine Foam (peel & stick) is an enhanced version of melamine foam, treated to have exceptional water-resistance while maintaining the excellent sound absorption properties of an open cell foam. Mega Zorbe's open cell material is extremely lightweight and flexible. The open cell surface allows sound waves to penetrate the foam and not reflect as an echo. Mega Zorbe is recommended for both acoustical and thermal insulation in aircraft, aerospace, marine, automotive, and architectural applications. It is resistant to most organic solvents and meets or exceeds national and international fire safety standards.

Each strip is 2 square feet (1 foot x 2 feet x 1/2" thick. Each sheet is 8 square feet (2 feet x 4 feet x 1/2" thick). Before applying to your vehicle, ensure you have 0.5 inches of clearance so the open cell foam can stay fluffed out and effectively absorb sound and heat.We recommend applying Mega Zorbe to the roof above the headliner, inside the doors, and on the trunk lid.Mega Zorbe works best when used as part of a vehicle insulation project, combining its sound absorption with sound deadening products (such as our Damplifier Pro) and sound blocking products (such as our Luxury Liner Pro).- HYDROPHOBIC MELAMINE FOAM: Second Skin’s Mega Zorbe is a 1/2” thick lightweight melamine foam treated with a patented process to repel water, making it excellent for heat insulation or acoustic improvement in cars and trucks.
