Seat Belt Harness Bars are designed to keep drivers safe while testing the limits of their cars on the track by keeping the racing seat belt harness at a 10-15 degree angle to the shoulders. If the harness is out if this range, the harness keeps the racer trapped in the vehicle after some unforeseen accident, or compress the racer's spine.
