Before inserting the sensor make sure your skin around the insertion site is free of creams, lotions, or perfume.

After cleaning the area with alcohol wipes or mastisol let it dry completely.

Put Lexcam patch over the sensor pod and secure it in place, making sure you don't tape over the transmitter.
