New in cables is the OptiMate Cable O-40 M18 panel-mounted SAE socket with 100cm / 40″ cable that terminates in an SAE connector. The 18AWG / 0.82mm2 cable is rated at –40°C/°F, ideal for permanent mounting on a vehicle that is also used in cold weather. The socket can be used as a drop-in replacement for more expensive DIN (‘Hella’) socket & plug system used on BMW, Triumph, Victory and now on some Ducati motorcycles. Fitment to the battery requires a battery lead that terminates in a SAE connector, like the OptiMate O-01 weatherproof battery lead.
