MACHINE WASHABLE

This Soft Emoji Rug is also machine washable! Don't be afraid to get this rug dusty or dirty. When the rug gets dirty, just throw it in the wash!

To wash this rug:

Be sure to wash on the gentlest cycle in cold water. Be sure to use bleach free detergent, a chemical free detergent is even better. If one cycle was not enough to clean your rug, wash it a second time - don't give it a heavy duty wash and never Dry Clean your rug!

After washing, tumble dry on the lowest setting and only until damp dry. Then shake the rug again (they love a good shake) and hang dry to finish. Make sure the rug is completely dry before it is put down on the floor.

Grooming: If you feel you need to brush your rug, use a soft nylon bristle brush.

Shedding:

You may see some clumps of fiber on your rug. It is not shedding, it can't shed, it's knitted not tufted, so this can't happen. What you're seeing is excess fibers appearing from when the rug was cut during manufacturing and then immediately bagged. Once again, a good shake will take care of this. You can also vacuum the rug without agitating rollers to get rid of any excess and loose fibers.
