Blood spatter is a useful line of evidence investigators observe while studying a crime scene. By using a combination of physical observation and mathematical observation, investigators can help support or refute witness claims, or provide insight into events that may or may not have occurred at the crime scene. With this kit, students will study the mechanisms behind blood spatter and the factors that affect it, such as falling height, incident angle, impact velocity, surface texture, and patterning. Included are enough materials for 15 groups of students, as well as detailed instructions and safety data sheets.
