Made of 925 sterling silver and hallmarked accordingly, each one of these hoops are made as they are ordered. The hearts are hand forged, fine finished for best comfort, and polished to a nice shiny finish. They are available in 7 different gauges (24g, 22g, 21g, 20g, 18g, 16g, or 14g) INFORMATION ON GAUGES: 24 GAUGE - thickness 0.4 mm - EXTREMELY THIN/easily able to get damaged, not good if your going to be putting in/taking out regularly 22 GAUGE - thickness: 0.6 mm - thin/more stable than 24 gauge but still not good if your going to be putting in/taking out often 21 GAUGE - thickness: 0.7 mm - slightly thinner than a regular ear wire, a stable size, pretty durable, only one size thinner than standard 20 GAUGE - thickness: 0.8 mm - standard size/same size as normal ear wire 18 GAUGE - thickness: 1 mm - slightly thicker than standard size; shouldn't stretch your holes 16 GAUGE - thickness: 1.2 mm - THICK; will stretch a regular hole 14 GAUGE - thickness: 1.6 mm - very thick; will not fit unless your holes are stretched out
