Caution About The Scent

Please note that since we do not add any fragrance (to keep it 100% pure without chemicals) or deodorize, the natural scent of 100% pure organic Rosehip Oil has a scent similar to tea, hay or plain oil. The scent always disappears after a few minutes on your skin, as true Rosehip Oil absorbs very quickly. Based on its name, many would naturally assume it smells like roses. However, this assumption is far from the truth. Other brands on the market may add fragrance or deodorize to make the scent more appealing or not have a scent at all. However, adding fragrance or deodorizing will only strip rosehip oil of its healthful healing properties, thus diluting it with chemicals and making it less efficient. Our oil is fragrance free with no additives and as natural as can be. Our extraction process consists of pressing of the Rosehip seeds (without roasting them), which helps the oil maintain its natural state. This is the only method that should be used for Rosehip oil used for cosmetic purposes, since it allows for a longer shelf life.
