Bow Nocking Points (12-pack); Archery Accessories for String Bows, Compound Bows, Recurve Bows
Ensure precision when shooting with this bulk 12-pack of bow nocking tips. For all stringed bows such as compound bows, recurve bows, etc. Keep extras in your bow case for easy adjustment or replacement. Outside is copper color and smooth. Inside is red color and ridged like a burr to help grip string and not slide after tightening. Inner dimension of opening before tightening is 5mm. Outer dimension is 6mm. Installation tips: You may want to get your archery store to help you if it is your first time attaching. Attach with opening facing toward archer. It is recommended to use bow nocking pliers and possibly a bow square to install for ideal adjustment. You may consider crimping these partially, test-firing an arrow to see if you are happy with placement, and then full tightening. Installation instructions gleaned from an experienced bowyer: First string the bow. Then take a T bow square and line the edge against the string. Use a loosely tied string to mark a point on your string about ⅜" above the arrow rest. Place the arrow on the string with the framing square in line with the string. Your arrow should be square between the rest and the bow string. Slide the loosely tied string marker until it is perfectly square all around. Shoot several arrows to make sure you are happy with how they fly. Now place the nocking point where you tied the string marker. Use nocking pliers or wire crimpers to tighten. However, don't mash it flat as it can hurt your finger.
