Dogs can not hear all sound due to physical structure, health level and surroundings.
This whistle can help you work out dog's frequency with adjusting the pitch rod.

How to workout dog's frequency
1. Stand nearby and make sure you are unnoticeable to dog.Best to do this when dogs fall asleep.
2. Tighten(lower pitch) or loosen(higher pitch) the rod slowly and then blow the whistle.
3. Repeat step1 and step2 until dog reacts(perks up or searching).
4. Secure the locknut on the rod.

Tips for training
1. Keep your whistle commands consistent and your dog will always know what you expect of him.
2. The dog's behavior according to your instruction need to be trained. Such as, at meal time, blow on the whistle before they get the food.
3. Use whistle with varying sequences to train dog. For example, one long burst can mean "come", while a series of short, staccato bursts might mean "sit".
4. Never be mean to praise your dog.
