If you've forgotten what real pita chips taste like, meet Crunchicopia pita chips: simple, light chips with a satisfying holds-up-to-thick-hummus-dip crunch! They're the kind of authentic pita chips you'd find at a Middle Eastern bakery - crisp and cut from real pitas. Since these chips are traditionally made from real pitas, some edges are straight and some are round (like the edges of the pitas themselves). That's how you know they're the real deal. We start by baking big fluffy pita breads that puff up as they bake. That's why you may get a thick chip with the top and bottom of the pita bread still stuck together (a lucky double chip!), or spot brown baking marks. Still warm, we slice the pitas into dipping-size pieces - and bake again for that extra crunch. After sprinkling them with sea salt, we pop these artisanal pita chips in handy 1 oz lunchbox-size portion packs. You'll notice the bags are shiny inside. That's because we use an extra heavy duty packaging film to keep our pita chips fresh and crispy for an extra long time.
