This Montana Frontier Furnishings coat rack is constructed from solid wood and reclaimed railroad spikes. The backboard started out as new 1x6 finished lumber and has been put through our 5 step weathering and staining process. The RR spike coat hooks are joined to the backboard with welded 1/4 inch studs with a nut countersunk into the back of the backboard. Both the backboard rail and railroad spike hooks have been clearcoated to add richness and shine and to protect their weathered finish. Each coat rack is has it's own unique grain and knot pattern. This item is proudly made in Missoula, Montana, USA.
