The TDOK TD-109 flush cutter, for shear cutting soft wire, is alloy steel, and has a return spring and nonslip hand grips.
It cuts soft wire up to 20 American wire gauge (AWG) (0.8 mm). The alloy steel flush cutter has Rockwell hardness 54-56C for strength, and a return spring that requires minimal hand movement.
It is compact, for access into small areas, and has nonslip hand grips for comfort and control.
The TDOK TD-109 flush cutter can be used to trim wire in precision electronics work and plastic degating.
Dimensions are 5 x 1.85 x .50 inches (H x W x D), and the flush cutter weighs 2.05 oz. (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) Flush cutters are wire cutters that are ground to the apex of the cutting edge on one jaw side, allowing an even cut. They can be used to trim copper, brass, iron, aluminum, and steel wires, and are commonly used in precision electronics and jewelry applications.
