The EZ Flo 2020-HB Garden Hose Fertilizer Injector w/ Backflow Preventer installs on your outdoor water faucet / tap and connects to a garden hose to accurately feed your flowers, trees, or shrubs with water-soluble or liquid fertilizers. The feeding rate can be adjusted using the dial on the top of the lid. The approximate feed ratio range on the slow setting is 1000:1 and 100:1 on the fast setting.

For EZ Flo units attached to a water faucet, the minimum backflow preventer is an anti-siphon valve upstream from the hose bib connection point. Backflow preventers are used to protect potable water supplies from pollution and contamination due to backflow.
