This is a book about one average guy's attempt to finish the Leadville 100 mountain bike race in Colorado's Rocky Mountains. Juggling family, work, and other adult obligations while squeezing in training the author fought his way toward the finish line of a grueling one hundred mile mountain bike race that is notoriously hard to get into and frustratingly hard despite its commercial popularity.
