In order to love, you must first love yourself. In order to learn, you must first make mistakes. In order to grow, you must first fall short. It takes either severe heartbreak or pain to actually know and appreciate a love that’s real. Some wait a lifetime and others have it almost instantly. No matter the timing, when it comes and it’s real, you’ll know right at that moment. Many don’t believe in love at first sight. Me, on the other hand, I know it’s possible. Ever wondered why things you prayed for to work out didn’t? Well, when you find that one, you instantly know why.
Shout out to the ones who looked past me never giving me a second look. Shout out to the ones who hurt me and felt I wasn’t deserving enough for real love. Live, laugh, and love life while looking good doing it. That’s all I’m trying to do. I’m just an average girl in a basic world trying to find what it is I’ve been missing. The nerd love ain’t what I want, the hood love ain’t what I want, the clubs love ain’t what I want, so what is it?
Never judge a book by its cover! The outside appearance doesn’t always explain nor equal to what’s inside. Being used to average or what is considered the norm can cause you to stray away from what it is you really need. Not being the street type and wanting to live the American dream will make you search for the corporate type, but somehow, I fell for a street nigga. This ain’t what I imagined my life to be, cause I’m definitely not bout the life he lives. At the same time, it’s something intriguing about him that draws me in more and more every day. Now, I’m involved with a savage, and there’s no turning back! Can I handle it or will it all be too much to take in? I don’t know, and I really don’t care. Only time will tell, and in the meantime, if he rocking, I’m rolling. He’s my savage, and I love everything about him!
