This micrometer stand will allow benchtop use of standard micrometers or other small hand tools. It will make using a micrometer much easier and more accurate .Cast iron base is a generous 4.75" wide x 6.5" long. Rubber lines jaws will protect measuring tools, are 1.5" wide, will open to .75" and will accept most inside and outside micrometers. Jaws rotate 50 degrees forward and 30 degrees back. Knobs will securely lock jaws in any position. Overall height is 4.5". Weight is 44 ounces.
