Standard replacement rubber gaskets for swing top bottles are made with ordinary rubber and often too thick at 1/8" (ours are 1/10")
Regular flat style rubber gaskets will allow gas to escape between the nub and the gasket. The tapered neck design of our silicone gaskets works to provide a tight seal around the nub of the swing-top.
