This rich fatwood or Pine Lighter is the ultimate fire starting aid for any outdoor activity. It is naturally water proof due to the high content of pine resin within the wood making it a supreme survival fire starter. Shave or scrape off some into a pile and introduce a spark from a 4DB ferrocerium rod and you will have instant fire even when wet. You can also light this with a lighter or any fire starting tool.
