This piece is a great starter piece or addition to a wall mounted playscape, as a flat bed for smaller cats or a series of hammock steps. The 16†Hammock is our big 16lb cat Ickle’s favorite place to sleep, so some larger cats may like its tighter fit.
The Catastrophic Creations 16†Hammock simple has a simple, yet elegant design. You won’t have to sacrifice beauty for function. It is made from solid pine and cotton canvas. Our products are handcrafted in the USA. This piece comes assembled, but requires mounting on a wall. It is mounted among two wall studs, spaced 16″ apart.

All of the brackets come attached for easy installation. Our furniture also comes with all necessary screws and drywall anchors to install into studs. If your studs are spaced differently or you do not want to use studs, you can also mount the shelving up using 1/8†x 2†Toggle Bolts to sturdily mount our shelving into drywall. These Toggle Bolts would need to be separately purchased.
