Dr. Okon Obo, the author of this Handbook, earns BS/MS degrees in Oil & Gas Fields’ Machines and Equipment Mechanical Engineering; and a PhD in Petroleum Engineering with specialties in Drilling Equipment and Offshore Fields’ Development. He has many years of combined oil industry experience in designing oilfield’s equipment, among others. Dr. O. Obo is also a Professor of “Workforce Leadership and Critical Thinking.” He authors several books that include: “Blowout Preventer (BOP) – Components Illustration Handbook”; and “Hydraulic Fracturing (Fracking) – Procedures, Issues, and Benefits”.
