Sambucus Canadensis `York` produces heavy crops of extra large fruit clusters, maturing 1 to 2 weeks after 'Adams'. fruit is high in vitamin C & individual fruits are the largest of any variety. Vigorous shrub 8-10'.

- For best results, plant in USDA Zones 4-8. Mature height is 8-10ft, mature spread is 8-10ft.
- Small, five petal, early Summer flowers will later give way to highly nutritional fruit. Its fruit is edible and larger than any other variety of Elderberry.
- Grows well in full sun.
- Plant will be dormant (no leaves) late Fall through the Winter months, this is normal. It will leaf out in Spring.
