Our Straight Edge Decaf Blend combines organic, Fairly Traded beans from small farms and cooperatives in Nicaragua and Honduras. The result is a medium-dark roast with a robust, velvety flavor.
- Oakland Coffee sources and roasts premium origin, high-quality coffee from small farms and cooperatives, predominantly in Central and South America. The Straight Edge Decaf Blend was hand-picked by farmers in Honduras and Nicaragua. As the beans from each source have their own distinct characteristics, we roast them separately. Once the beans reach their optimal roasts, they are combined to create our final blend.
- The Straight Edge Decaf Blend is a medium-dark roast with a robust, velvety flavor. The beans are decaffeinated using the Swiss Water process before they are roasted to perfection to have as rich a flavor as possible without being perceptively bitter or acidic. This blend has the same great taste of your favorite full-octane coffees, without the caffeine! With Straight Edge Decaf, You CAN have it all.
- This premium, organic coffee is packaged in a first-of-its-kind bag certified compostable in industrial composting facilities by the Biodegradable Products Institute. Check locally, as these facilities may not be available in your area. Not certified for home composting.
- Oakland Coffee blends and single-origin roasts are certified USDA Organic by CCOF. Oakland Coffee strives to bring you coffees that are grown in a manner that is sustainable for the environment and for the farming community.
- Through their charitable organization, Fueled By Love, Oakland Coffee works closely with coffee growing communities in Central and South America by sponsoring and supporting community-enhancement projects. So far, Oakland Coffee has helped to build an educational center, an emergency room, and water infrastructure in the District of Maras, Peru.
