The ABN Inner Tie Rod Tool 3/8" Inch easily turns smooth tie rods for removal without extracting outer tie rods. The teeth grip the tie rod as you plug in a socket wrench or breaker bar and turn as necessary. It does not move when you release twist/torque, so you won't have to reposition the tool and accidently jam surrounding structures in the process. This tool is for tie rods with smooth cylinder ends. The tool limitations only pertain to the size of the part to be removed and will work on any rod that will fit between the top and bottom components with both 9/16" nuts screwed on and tightened. It gives you great leverage and takes any 3/8" extension or adapter for larger breaker bars. Turn the steering wheel for better access and use impact tools to avoid snapping standard extensions.
