Fill your garden with a heavenly lilac scent! Betsy Ross Lilac is the first lilac introduced by the US National Arboretum that adapts well to warmer climates and has a good tolerance to powdery mildew. The deciduous, multi-stemmed, compact, rounded shrub displays thick, dark green foliage. An abundance of showy, fragrant, and pure white flowers decorate the branches attracting butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Not only are these flower clusters great to look at outside, but bring them in and place into a flower arrangement for home interior decorations. The Betsy Ross Lilac grows 8'-10' in height and spread. For best results, plant your lilac in rich, moist, well-drained soil where it can receive full sun.
