Fans of adventure science fiction will relish discovering the answer in this standalone novelette – a short book longer than a short story and briefer than a novella. Although this is a standalone book, readers of The Sleeping Legion and The Human Legion will recognize the setting. Author JR Handley has taken events out of Tim C. Taylor's third Human Legion novel, Renegade Legion and transformed them into this new story. The events also take place between the first two Sleeping Legion novels, The Legion Awakes and Fortress Beta City, but you don't need to have read any of those other books to enjoy the wild ride of No Marine Left Behind.
