A tragic accident leaves the beautiful Victoria and her young son alone in the frigid city of Juneau, Alaska. Barely able to face each day, she becomes addicted to antidepressants as her son turns to his aunt for comfort and stability.

Russell Alden, a product of rough living and self-abuse takes a teacher’s interest in young Nick, coaching him to become a better student. Russell takes an interest in Victoria and she, likewise intrigued, notices there is something quite different about him.

Could there be a link between him and her past? A link no one saw coming? Perhaps her husband still watches over her from the grave?
